What happened in chapter 6 - chapter 10?:
After that night where they were watching football with Rose and Vince, they can’t get enough of each other. They decide to move slowly, but they’re constantly talking and seeing each other every day, and opening up to each other about their past. Lorenzo even meets her family.
They finally get to the point where they’re both ready for more, and Lorenzo tells Olivia that he’s taking her somewhere special, and she needs to pack a weekend bag. On the day of their trip, Olivia gets a text from her ex, Jay, but she ignores it and doesn’t tell Lorenzo about it. Lorenzo takes her to the beach house he owns with Vince - he’s decked it out in lilies and made it very special for her.
Throughout the night, Olivia’s phone is buzzing like crazy, but she’s ignoring it, so Lorenzo tries to do so as well. They can’t keep their hands off each other all night.
The morning after, when Olivia checks her phone again, she’s gotten a ton of texts from Jay and Margie. Margie sounds like she’s in trouble and Olivia tells her she’ll call her later. She’s interrupted by breakfast from Lorenzo - he has a gift for her. The red thread of fate, which they both think is perfect, given how they met.
When she gets home later that day, Olivia calls Margie, who tells her everything. She explains to her how she and Jay got together, that she’s always loved him too, but now she’s pregnant and Jay is pushing for her to get an abortion. Margie tells Olivia that Jay is still in love with her.
