King (The VIP Room 3)by Jamie Begley

5/5 Stars
Synopsis
King
My good intentions always led to disaster. The cold hard truth is that I was never meant to be a father to Lily. Staying inTreepoint, Kentucky for a few weeks to get to know my daughter was meant to be a time of discovery, instead I find out that she’s married to a killer and living in a sex club. I’m going to find out how to destroy The Last Riders and give Lily the future she deserves.
Evie
He thinks I’m a whore; he doesn’t know me. I’m nobody’s fool, but he thinks he’s going to use me to find The Last Riders only weakness. That’s his biggest mistake of all. There’s more to me than meets the eye. King thinks he’s too good for me, that I’m less than dirt in his eyes. What the King of Queen City is going to find out too late is that I’m his judge, and I hold his life in my hands.

Review
I can't not even express how much I love Jamie's books she is such a beautiful writer.
Her Last Riders series can never steer me in the wrong direction and when she added The VIP Room series it just made my life just a little bit better.and I can't forget how excited I was when Biker Bitches series came out! Jamie just knows how to rock it especially how she crosses over the characters to each series!!

King was just fabulous he was the perfect mix of temper flared possessive yet sweet Alpa male. King was first introduced in Shades and Lilys story it turned out King is Lilys dad!! If you haven't read Shades Fall you must read to fully understand Kings book.

Jamie has a way with words that suck you in like a black hole and when you are reading them everything around you goes  mute and you are transformed into the book right along side the characters! I can't get enough and I actually read all her past books 3 times and I may add I was so obsessed with Shades book I actually read it 7 times!! I may have gotten a little carried away!

When Jamie posted on her site that KIng was next I was jumping for joy it was the perfect follow up from Shades Fall! I think I drove my husband crazy with all my talk of Razer,Viper,Knox, and Shade it was just jibberish to him. and he was like "What the hell are you reading babe?" after he read a few of the pages haha I think he freaked how The Last Riders are very open sexually!

On to King his book was just perfect at first I was skeptical with him and Evie I just couldn't really picture it because I didn't care for Evie after what she did to Beth UGH I  really hated her guts for a long time! Well it turns our Evie was a total different person that I thought she was. In a good way no less she still was the witty smart mouth Bitch who didn't take shit from anyone ,but as I got to know her I saw who she really was and why she was the way she was and why she actually slept around. The thing is I really felt sorry for hating her all this time! I learned so much about her past and was surprised at how crap went down and how she became so strong after all she went thru!

King was the perfect match for Evie that man had been thru some tuff shit! He was sorta a king pin and it was nice to see why he took Lily away from his life style, and wanted to step up and be a good man after all this time. It bothered me how he didn't like Shade and thought his new son in law didn't love Lily and would hurt her! Like seriously WTF dude Shade would move heaven and hell for Lily and loves her unconditionally!! No one messes with Shade I got his back LOL he may be one son of a bitch but man can he make me melt!

Over all I couldn't help but love how King fell for Evie and how he got behind the wall she hides behind. It was so sweet and the sex was freakin AMAZING!! He may be older but King could put it down like no other! Kings book was all I was expecting and more. There wasn't too much of a epilogue like Jamie's other books just a slight Sizzle but nothing major so I can't wait to see what's in store next for my favorites!!

Excerpt

“All right then. It was nice meeting you, Lily’s father.” She moved toward the door.
“Are you a friend of Lily’s?”
“I like to think I am, yes.”
“Her husband?”
“Yes.”
“How close?”
Evie openly gaped at him. What was he trying to ask? “I have known Lily since she was a senior in high school, and I met Shade when we were in high school and served in the military together. So, I guess we’re pretty good friends.”
“I was just wondering since you stepped in for Beth today.”
“Oh, I used to work with Beth a few years ago before the factory opened. I help out whenever she needs an extra hand.”
“I see. It was nice meeting you.”
Evie nodded her head, feeling as if he was dismissing her. She opened her mouth to say something then snapped it closed, remembering her friendship with Lily and Beth. She really didn’t want to make them angry by calling Lily’s father an arrogant asshole, but he was definitely riding the line of being just that with his attitude.
Evie went out the door, leaving it open, aware that Henry was following behind her. She walked to the front door, about to open it, but Henry reached out and opened it for her.
“He can be a little abrasive.”
Evie heard the humorous edge to his voice; it probably wasn’t the first time he had witnessed his boss pissing someone off. “No shit.”
“He grows on you.”
“I’ll take your word for it.”

Go Get It Now!!!

About Jamie Begley

“I was born in a small town in Kentucky. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.
Taking after my mother, I’ve always love to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.
For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children who both graduate this year from college. My daughter does my book covers, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.
Currently I am writing four series of books- The Last Riders, The Dark Souls, The VIP Room, and Biker Bitches series. My favorite book I have written is Soul Of A Woman, which I am hoping to release during the summer of 2014. It took me two years to write, during which I lost my mother, and brother. It’s a book that I truly feel captures the true depths of love a woman can hold for a man. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am an emotional writer who wants the readers to feel the emotion of the characters they are reading. Because of this, Teased is probably the hardest thing I have written.
All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best. In the near future I hope to take a weekend break and visit Vegas that will hopefully be this summer. Right now I am typing away on my next story and looking forward to traveling this summer!”
