J.L. Berg never fails to write a good book. This was definitely not your average love story it was actually a story I couldn't get enough of it was so
sweet and tender.
Lailah is was born with a heart defect and she is in and out of the hospital.
It is a way of life for her. 22 years and her mom has kept a tight leash on her and hasn't let her live like a normal girl would. I really felt for her I could in no way imagine living like that. I think I would hate going in and out of the hospital or having my parental units worrying so much about my well being.
Than there is Jude he is a CNA and he is no way near the person he used to be.
Lailah keeps a list of things she SOMEDAY would do and one day Jude finds the list. He sorta becomes apart of her life and make her be a better person while Lilah makes him a better person as well. It was so sweet I think I loved Jude more than any other character I have read lately.
