Warning: This is not a conventional or predictable love story. It involves one woman and two men bound by a love so destructive it spans two decades, pitting brother against brother, and shattering the lives of those touched by it.
Synopsis
Dorothy Kelley is a born romantic, searching for her prince. Instead she finds herself pregnant at fifteen, and a in a loveless marriage by the tender age of eighteen.
Then hope comes riding into her life on a motorcycle and within weeks, Jason “Jase” Brady, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen motorcycle club, sweeps Dorothy off her feet.
But nothing is ever simple for Dorothy. Jase is married with children. And as Dorothy patiently waits for Jase to give her the happily-ever-after she’s been dreaming about, James “Hawk” Young, a member of the Hell’s Horsemen with secrets of his own, sees an opening into Dorothy’s life and takes it.
Carrying on two secret affairs is no easy feat. As Dorothy tries to dig herself out of the mess she’s created, covering one mistake with another, tragedy strikes, nearly costing Dorothy her life and that of her unborn son.
What follows is a long and painful journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, as Dorothy comes to realize that home was exactly where she’d left it, and the love she’d forever craved had always been within her reach.
This is the story of Dorothy,Jase, and Hawk.
We are all born pure; it is our journey that burdens us and leads us astray. Our mistakes that beat us down and cover us in guilt and shame, burying us a little more with each passing hardship. It is up to us to dig ourselves out, to come to terms with our faults, to embrace not only our imperfections but those of the ones we love, and to once again find the path we strayed from.
Review
I have a huge liking for MC books there is just something about them that I cant help but love.
When I was first introduced to them Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan was my first and was hooked!
Madeline knows how to write a damn good MC book. I could not wait for Unbeloved it seemed like I have waited ages for it to come out. When it did and I downloaded it I couldn't help but start reading right away. I was hooked on the first page seriously Dorothy is totally different than I had pictured and I really grew to love her.She had been to hell and back.
When Dorthy was first introduce she was what some would call a club whore.
She was having an affair with Jase a member of the Hell's Horseman MC and he is married with kids.
She is so in love with him she keeps this affair going on for quite sometime. In the first couple books I just could not stand her I thought she was a slut and a home wrecker.
Unbeloved changed my mind I grew to love her and actually felt sorry for all the crap she went thru.
While Dorthy was carrying on this affair with Jase she happens to hook up with Hawk and during that hook up she gets knocked up. She is so in love with Jase she tells every one that it is Jase's kid.
Well when Jase's wife has had enough in his antics she goes to the club house and attempts to kill Dorthy.Dorthy has to have the baby early and come to find out the baby is Hawks which is a no no because Jase claimed her and in the MC world and when you fuck another mans property its a total betrayl. When Dorthy was shoot she lost her memory and she had to get it back.
Fast forwards years later and she has recovered and is living away from the MC. I was sorta glad she had gotten away after all that drama, however she still has contact with Hawk because of there son Chris. I really fell in love with Hawk I am glad that he was a good father and in this book you can tell that he loved Dorthy regardless all the shit she put him thru in the past.He has some major secrets and I was like WHOA DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! I was shocked at at the punch that Madeline gave Unbeloved it was AMAZING!
After regaining her memory Dorthy wants nothing to do with Jase and Jase is very upset he has lost his wife who went to prison for a attempted murder and his daughters hate him and wont even talk to him. He pretty much is drinking his life away.I was glad things were bad for Jase because he really put Dorthy thru hell it was just awful the way he treated her.Not only that he ruined his wife and daughter life's.He was never man enough to choose between his Wife and Dorthy.
I really wish there was more of an ending for him tho I didn't feel there was enough of Jase in this book. That is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 it really is a great book just wanted more Jase.
The epilogue was epic and I cant wait to see what is in store for ZZ's story!
