Envy By Rachel Van Dyken **REVIEW**

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes a new story in her Eagle Elite series…

Every family has rules, the mafia just has more....
Do not speak to the bosses unless spoken to.
Do not make eye contact unless you want to die.
And above all else, do not fall in love.
Renee Cassani's future is set.
Her betrothal is set.
Her life, after nannying for the five families for the summer, is set
Somebody should have told Vic Colezan that.
He's a man who doesn't take no for an answer.
And he only wants one thing.
Her.
Somebody should have told Renee that her bodyguard needed as much discipline as the kids she was nannying.
Good thing Vic has a firm hand.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

REVIEW

5 stars

Envy is a novella from Rachel's Elite series which is a mafia series that is phenomnal. if you haven't read the other books I definitely recommend you check them out before diving into this one

Envy is Victory story is is the enforcer of the families and has vowed to protect them from any harm possible. He never smile and always has been super quite. Victor is pretty much introduced in Chases book who is one of the bosses and in his book Vic was a bad ass body guard.

When Renee the families nanny starts working for the summer Victor can not help but watch her whenever possible. She is super innocent and great with the kids he starts to have feeling he isn't supposed to be having about the nanny.
Vic tries his hardest to not let his feeling get mixed up with Renee and Renee tries her damnest to do the same, but when Renee needs protection of her own Victor has no choice but to choose feeling or his loyalty to the family!

By the 2nd chapter of this book I was already head over heeling in love with Vic there is just something about him that makes me want to climb him like a tree and his him all over the place to make him smile. For the love of god the man has the most amazing dimples, and gosh do simples make me melt into a puddle. When he smiles its like the whole world tilts on its axis!

Renee she is super sweet and has goals she is driven and knows what she wants in live, which dosen't include the mafia life style she grew up in. I thought she was prefect for Vic.

Envy is such a great read and it kinda throws you into what is coming for the families and all I can say is I never wanted another characters besides Phenoix until I got the feels for another Russian character by the name of Andrei!!

REVIEW

I am what some would call a Rachel Van Dyken junkie I live of her book and am always shaking my leg like an addict waiting for what book she is coming out with next. When I heart about Summer Heat I was some what conflicted, because I honestly hate duet and trilogy books , but knowing Rachel I knew she wasn't gonna let me down, so diving in I had my hopes set high.

It first introduced me to Marlon the scrawny yet sorta sexy boy next door and the past he hates to think about, a past that made him as he is today emotionally closed off with sad eyes. As the book goes on we learn he is now super sexy his smirk just jumps off the page. I loved his edginess and his closed off personality it made him unique and I liked that.

Then we get to meet Ray who is a girl I didn't wanna like, and I absolutely didn't want to be friends with at all! She is a rich spoiled brat, or so I like to think. As the book came to and end she was growing on me in more way then one. She has some spunk to her and I liked it because behind her bitchy is a innocent girl looking for her place in the world.

The sexual tension between the two is so intense I was begging and begging for Rachel to have them stick the P in the V like every chapter!! It was so worth the wait tho except what happened after I am so freaking heart broken I am counting down the days until the next book!

This is a summer must read even tho you have to wait for the others go get this now because you absolutely have to meet Marlon and Ray the two will set fire to your soul!
