REVIEW
5 STARS
When I think of Molly McAdams I think of a woman who knows how to squash your heart like a little bug and keep stomping until it is completely obliterated! However she does somehow wave a magic wand just like Harry Potter and make everything back to normal!
To The Stars was seriously the most heartbreaking book I have read in awhile, I couldn't take it especially some of the scenes with abuse had me putting the book down wiping tears and realizing how luck I am to have a husband who loved me unconditionally.
This book starts with Harlow who is married to a horrible man. He beats her every day for no good reason and like most abused woman she can't seem to leave him because she is living in fear of him. She longs to be with her first love Knox and wishes she would have never chosen this life she has now.
When Harlow runs into Knox one day she whole past comes rushing back, and the book has flash back scenes of when they were younger and were a couple. Honestly those were the best part of the book there love story. I couldn't blame Harlow for choosing what she did, but in the end the grass isn't always greener.
Anyways, when they see each other Knox knows something is up because obviously he know her best and when he finds out what exactly is going on behind closed doors he does everything to make sure that she is ok and tries to save her because she is his one and only love. I for one didn't agree when they finally gave into there love I think it was a stupid thing on there part to do the deed in her and her husbands own home! It just rubbed me the wrong way. I think that was the only think tho these two did that I didn't like.
Finally when Knox finally has Harlow in his grasp it pretty much goes nuts and gosh darn I wanted to yell at what was going on and punch something, but I am so glad it ended the way it did it was a perfect end. I am now in a Molly McAdams coma and can't wake up. Pry won't happen until she breaks my heart all over again!
